In less than three years Apple has approved 500,000+ iPhone, iPad and iPod touch apps for the company's U.S. store.To celebrate this event, three app related companies 148apps, Chomp and Chillingo have issued an info graphic, a portion of which is shown above. The most famous apps is crowned by Angry Birds, which spent 275 days in the No. 1 spot. As of January, more than 10 billion apps had been downloaded from Apple's App Store. Its closest competitor, the Google Android Marketplace currently hoasts 294,000 apps and 3 billion app downloads.
