Android Market got a make over with books and movies

Google had released an improved version of the Android Marketplace to all devices running on Android 2.2 and above to find apps, games, rent movies and to buy books all in your phone.

This update includes video rentals and books to purchase to your Android device. The video section includes a rating system, synopsis of the plot, cast and crew, a short video preview, reviews and related titles.If you would like to purchase a book, you can view a sample and a description of the book.

With the Videos app, available in Android Market you can select from thousands of movie titles in the Android Market. You can also make your movie rentals available for offline to watch when you're not connected.

The books you purchased from Android Market are instantly available across all of your devices ie computer, phone, or tablet without the need for wires or any additional downloads.

Android Market is faster, easier, and more fun to discover great apps, movies, and books. Google had added more space to feature some of the most interesting content of the week on the home page so that you can swipe through these charts as you browse through the store.
