HP coming with webOS

Everyone is pretty aware about the mobile platforms like Android from Google, iOS from Apple. The not so famous addition to this series is the webOS, running on the Linux kernel, initially developed by Palm but later acquired by HP

  

The latest version is webOS 2.1.2 released on 15 May 2011 used in HP Veer, a powerfully small 4G Smartphone.

 

The Journey of webOS is moving into tablets by the release of HP Touchpad. Let us wait and see how long webOS can withstand the competitions from its contenders.
