Tablets Eating space of Smarphone and Laptop ?

The invention of mobile phones dramatized our life and its ways of interactions. Recent surveys shows that people spend more time with there Tablets than with there Smartphone or with Laptops.

they spend at least an hour a day on their tablet

they primarily use it at home

they mostly use it on weekdays and in the night

after getting a tablet, their use of desktop/laptop computers decreased

Now a days mobile replaces wallets. Do we need multiplier device or a single device is more than enough ? The same ways camera's are replaced by smart phones our Laptops/ mobiles will be replaced by Tablets in the near future.
