Google has launched its +1 button, a new feature that lets users recommend the links they finds cool.Google's +1 button is being compared to Facebook's "Like" buttons and Twitter's re-tweet. Google suggests that you use it to convey:"this is something you should check out".it is currently an experimental feature and if you want to use this feature then go to google.com/experimental/ and turn on the feature. You also have to sign into your Google account because this is the identity used to collate and control your +1 data.Use +1 to give something your public stamp of approval, so friends, contacts, and others can find the best stuff when they search.

The 42.195-kilometer race (the length of a real marathon) took place in Osaka, and a little humanoid robot called Robovie-PC was the big champion. It crossed the finish line after a grueling 54 hours, 57 minutes and 50.26 seconds more than two days running non-stop on the track. Only 1.73 seconds later, another contestant, Robovie-PC Lite, completed the race.The winning team used line-tracking to navigate the track, taking advantage of the rule allowing autonomous navigation. The other teams patiently controlled their bots using remotes. When batteries ran low, teams rushed in to swap them for fresh ones. Periodically, teams also needed to spray overheating motors with cans of cool, compressed air. All robots had to be designed with an automatic "getting up" feature when falls down.

Next generation 3D Printing

Check MakerBot(makerbot.com) 3D printers they build objects from plastic according to instructions you send them from your computer via a USB cable or store on a memory card. At $1225 its affordable and makes almost anything upto 4"*4"*6", they are vastly cheaper than the hundred-thousand-dollar commercial 3D printers that have been available for several years; the only catch—you have to build the printers yourself, your $1225 just gets you a kit, you have to put the circuit boards and motors together yourself.

Kodak is including 3D printing software with its new printers. Take a picture with a regular camera, shift a little bit to the side and shoot again, and it prints out as a 3D image;
