Nokia's first windows based mobile[Sea Ray]

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop displayed a functioning Windows Phone 7.5 based Nokia device, codenamed Sea Ray. This device is similar to Nokia N9 with one extra button on the side. All new Windows phone will come with 500 new capabilities and features.
Nokia was using Symbian OS for a very long time but this OS was not capable enough to compete with iOS or Android. Then Nokia shifted there attention to MeeGo, a Linux-based open source mobile operating system. MeeGo was developed because Microsoft did not offer Windows support for the Intel Atom processor.

On February 11, 2011, Nokia announced a partnership with Microsoft which would enable them to adopt Windows Phone OS for smartphones. The new Windows Phone version adds an extra button, presumably for the camera and is running on the latest version of Windows Phone that is code named as “Mango”.

The phone will be releasing on Q4 2011 in UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
