Advantages over Facebook:
Google+ Circles, target sharing with specified group of friends. HTML5 allows you to drag-and-drop your friends into different social circles like friends, family, classmates, co-workers etc . You can also drag groups of friends in and out of these circles at any point of time
Similar to Facebook Photo tab shows all the photos of the user s profile as well as the ones that are tagged in. In addition Google+ has an image editor for photo effects, privacy options and sharing features.
The most important aspects of Google+ is video chat feature. It doesn't place a chat window on the screen for each participant but chat screen quickly switches videos depends on who's talking at that point of time. The maximum members in any video Hangout is 10, but users can get on a waitlist and wait for someone to leave.
Google+ Sparks looks for videos and articles that will interest you so that you can watch them when you're free. It's also the one-stop shop not only for sharing content, but for finding it i.e. collection of articles, videos, photos and other content grouped by interest.

Google had stopped inviting users to join its new social network due to overwhelming response. Google+ is in Field Trial now and can resume at any point of time. So keep checking
